We at Hindussthan Marine Engineering have been able to excel in the field of Hi-Tech Shipping and Cargo handling solutions. With 25 years of experience in Ship Repairing, Grab and Cranes manufacturing and repairing, grab hiring etc.With state of art technical knowhow from Germany we have been able to give highly customized services and products to all our clients. We have the capability to design, manufacture and commission all types of Mechanical and Electro Hydraulic Grab equipments for handling any types of cargo. We cater to the major shipping and cargo handling solutions to all the ports namely East Coast, Vishakapatnam, Kakinada, Chennai, Tuticorn, Cochin, Mangalore and Goa.

We are adept in handling repair works like Renewal of steel plate, Channels, I-beams, On deck, Wing tank, Cofferdam, Hatchcovers, Forepeak, Ballast tanks, Cargo holds etc.We have the facility for overhauling of main engines and aux engines, turbo chargers of any make and any type and present them for required surveyor’s inspection.

Ship Building/Ship Repairs

We can undertake any type of Ship building activities.We are adept in building offshore platform vessels, car carrier and dump barges, Tugs; self propelled barges, pilot launch, police launch, Navy Vessels, Speed craft, Passenger vessels, Passenger barges etc.We have fully equipped shipbuilding workshops with high precision cutting machines and welding processes.

Grab Hiring

We offer different types of grabs that are of high qualityand durability. The grabs offered for hire are of high strength. Our grabs have been tested to load 48000tonnes of iron ore in 24 hours. These are equipped with latest technologies and engineering designs. Made from premium quality raw materials they are the best for any kind of cargo handling concern.

We manufacture and supply the following grabs

Clamshell Electro hydraulic grab with 2 Hydraulic Cylinders
Clamshell Electro hydraulic Grab with 4 hydraulic cylinders
Wireless Radio remote control grab
Single rope mechanical grab with touch down open
